Chelsea in Bloom had turned every street into a floral display, and eleven Cadogan Gardens had gone all out. Silk drapery, urns full of delphinium and hydrangea, and on the steps in front of it all, six very good dogs in their garlands, completely unfazed by the fuss around them.
 
Bertie, the giant bear stood tall keeping watch. The rest settled onto the steps like they owned the place. Flowers everywhere, and still, somehow, the dogs were the main event.
 
A proper Chelsea morning, and a proper reminder that every dog was born an icon.
