Delivery & Returns

Every print is prepared individually, inspected, signed and numbered before it leaves me.

I want receiving an Andrew Raven print to feel every bit as considered as the artwork itself, so each order is carefully protected for its journey and sent using tracked and insured delivery.

Preparing Your Artwork

Please allow up to five working days for your artwork to be prepared and dispatched.

Every limited edition print is individually inspected, signed and numbered before leaving the studio and is accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity.

As soon as your order is on its way, you will normally receive dispatch confirmation and tracking details.

UK Delivery

UK orders are sent using a tracked delivery service.

Available delivery options and any applicable cost will be shown during checkout.

Delivery time begins once the artwork has been dispatched, following the preparation period above.

If there is an unexpected delay with your order, I will let you know.

International Delivery

I am very happy to send the collection internationally.

International orders are sent using tracked and insured delivery wherever the service is available.

Delivery times vary according to destination and customs processing.

Customs, Duties and Local Taxes

Orders travelling outside the United Kingdom may be subject to import duty, local tax, VAT, customs charges or carrier handling fees when they arrive in the destination country.

Unless your checkout specifically states that these charges have been prepaid, they are the responsibility of the recipient.

These charges are set by the destination country or carrier and are outside my control.

Tracking Your Artwork

Once your order has been dispatched, you will normally receive tracking information so that you can follow its journey.

If tracking appears to have stopped moving, your parcel is substantially delayed or you believe it may have been lost, please contact:

andrew@andrewraven.com

For consumer orders, the artwork remains my responsibility while it is in transit until it reaches you or somebody you have nominated to receive it.

If Your Artwork Arrives Damaged

Each print is carefully inspected and packed before dispatch, although very occasionally a parcel can have a more eventful journey than intended.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible at:

andrew@andrewraven.com

If you can, please send:

  • your order number;

  • a photograph of the artwork;

  • photographs of the outer and inner packaging;

  • a brief description of the damage.

Contacting me within seven days is particularly helpful for courier and insurance claims, although this does not limit your statutory rights.

Please keep the print and its packaging while I investigate.

Where appropriate, I will arrange a replacement, refund or another remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

If a damaged limited edition print needs to be replaced, the replacement will not create an additional number within the edition. The damaged copy will be returned or permanently invalidated so that the stated edition remains intact.

If You Change Your Mind

I hope you love your artwork when it arrives. If you decide it is not right for you, standard prints purchased online can ordinarily be returned under the UK distance selling rules.

Please email andrew@andrewraven.com within 14 days of receiving your order to tell me that you wish to cancel.

You then have a further 14 days to return the artwork.

You do not need to give a reason.

Please contact me before sending anything back so that I can provide the correct return instructions.

Returning Your Print

For a change of mind return, the cost of sending the artwork back is your responsibility.

Because fine art prints are valuable and vulnerable in transit, I strongly recommend using an appropriately tracked and insured service.

Please return the artwork with:

  • its Certificate of Authenticity;

  • any other item supplied as part of the artwork.

Where reasonably possible, please use the protective packaging in which your print arrived.

You are welcome to inspect the artwork as you would in a gallery or shop. If it has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary and this has reduced its value, an appropriate deduction may be made from the refund where permitted by law.

Your Refund

For a valid change of mind cancellation, I will refund the price of the returned artwork together with the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method originally offered, where you paid an outbound delivery charge.

If you selected a more expensive delivery service, the additional premium delivery cost does not have to be refunded.

A refund may be held until the artwork has been received back or you provide evidence that it has been returned.

The refund will normally be made within 14 days of that point to the original payment method.

Bespoke or Personalised Artwork

The normal change of mind right may not apply to artwork genuinely made to your individual specification or clearly personalised for you.

This could include a specially commissioned piece, a custom size outside the standard collection or a personal inscription requested specifically for you.

If this applies to an order, I will make it clear before you purchase.

Choosing an ordinary artwork and one of the standard print sizes offered in the store is not treated by me as personalised simply because I prepare, sign and number the print after your order is placed.

Your legal rights if an artwork is faulty, damaged or not as described are unaffected.

Incorrect Orders or Faults

If I have sent the wrong artwork, the wrong size, or there is another fault with your order, please contact me.

Where an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, I will cover reasonable return costs where required and arrange the appropriate remedy.

A Note About the Certificate of Authenticity

Your Certificate of Authenticity is the permanent record of your print and its place within the edition.

Please keep it safely.

If you ever choose to pass the artwork on to another collector, I recommend that the Certificate travels with it.

Questions Before Ordering?

If you would like to ask about a print, delivery to a particular country, framing, paper or anything else before placing an order, you are always welcome to get in touch.
